Gene Segal has had the good fortune of playing; touring and recording with an eclectic group of exceedingly gifted musicians.  A few of the most noted among them include Billy Hart, Ben Street, Steve Laspina, Randy Brecker, Gene Bertoncini, Joe Magnarelli, Bill Goodwin, Ryan Kisor, Justin Kisor, E.J. Strickland, Boris Kozlov, Ted Poor, Matt Clohesy, Francoise Moutine, Brian Charette, Ron Oswanski, Sam Barsh, Mark Guliana, Jon Irabagon, Sam Sadigusky, Gerry Niewood among many others.
 

Grammy nominated, Gene Segal released his debut CD as a leader titled “hypnotic” on the Innova label in 2009. He later release three records for the steeplechase label titled “mental images” 2015, “matter” 2016, “spiral” 2017 and is scheduled to release “transformation” featuring Billi Hart, Ben Street and Adam Niewood in 2018.  He has gone on to release 2 more CDs under the steeplechase label.  All of the releases were written and co-produced by Gene.

In the last 10 years, Gene has been involved in producing and engineering with various artists.

It is another passion that he has grown to love and wants to share with up and coming musicians.
